Unwanted lines and wrinkles in your face can make you look older, appear unapproachable, and can make you uncomfortable in your own skin. There are several different FDA-approved treatments for these conditions which include BOTOX® and injectable NJ face fillers like Juvederm, Radiesse, Restylane and Perlane, all of which are offered at our New Jersey office.

BOTOX® is medically-purified from of a natural bacterial protein called Botulinum Toxin. It has been used for centuries to produce muscle paralysis and, recently, to temporarily eliminate wrinkle lines through the aforementioned muscle paralysis. BOTOX® works by binding the nerve endings of targeted spots. This prevents chemical transmitters that activates muscles and stops them from contracting. The NJ BOTOX® procedure is perfectly safe and virtually painless. The injections of BOTOX® are made using ultra-fine needles placed directly into the muscles that are causing the unwanted wrinkles or lines.

Juvederm is a dermal filler gel made of hyaluronic acid. The acid is smooth and light for easy injections and quick results. Radiesse is a synthetic filler that stimulates the natural production of collagen in skin. It is made up calcium and hydroxylapatite microspheres in a water-based gel composed of minerals similar to that found in your bones.

Restylane is a naturally occurring biodegradable polysaccharide that resembles collagen and has been used in the US for nearly a decade. The material is longer lasting than its competitors and causes less hypersensitivity reactions. Restylane is a hyaluronic acid produced by fermentation and metabolized by the body. Perlane contains purified hyaluronic acid, a sugar naturally found in your body that works with collagen to keep skin smooth. Unlike collagen, however, Perlane can bind with water, allowing it to perform up to 60% longer.
